Dr. Jordan Shepler, DPT
Dr. Jordan Shepler, DPT, received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016. He then attended the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas, where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. The University of St. Augustine has five destination campuses and is the largest physical therapy school system in the United States. As part of his post-graduate clinical work, Dr. Shepler performed internships at both in-patient and out-patient facilities, most notably The University of Florida Medical Center / Shands Hospital. He has extensive training in current techniques, which enables him to develop the most effective treatment plans for a wide variety of conditions. The University of St. Augustine has a world-class reputation for its advanced coursework in manual therapy, a valuable component of physical therapy. Dr. Shepler is passionate about conveying the numerous benefits of physical therapy to his patients which include: helping to manage pain, avoiding unnecessary surgery, preventing and recovering from injuries, improving mobility, balance, and strength, restoring functions after a stroke, avoiding dependence on pain medication Dr. Shepler is also the owner of a Crossfit gym with his wife, giving him an additional perspective on athletes and crossfitters dealing with injuries. In his free time, Dr. Shepler loves to spend time with his wife and daughter, training in Crossfit, Jiu-Jitsu, and skiing.
