Debbie Nystrom, PT
Physical Therapist
Debbie received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical School in 1982. Since graduation, Debbie has worked in a variety of settings in both Colorado and Texas, including home health, acute care/teaching hospitals, outpatient clinics, and most recently an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. She has had over 30 years of experience in treating a broad variety of diagnoses, including neurological, orthopedic, and acute medical conditions. Debbie views her role as a ministry while utilizing her skills as a volunteer/team member of Wheels for the World which is a branch of Joni and Friends. She has helped with the fitting of donated wheelchairs for those with disabilities all over the world. She is thankful that she could raise her family, be involved in her children’s schools and in her community, while still investing in the lives of her patients to help restore mobility, independence, and quality of life. Sung Par Sung received her Bachelor’s in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2013. She has over three years of experience in medical billing, coding, and office management. Sung joined Arlington Physical Therapy as an office manager and medical biller in 2016 and enjoys every aspect about her job, especially working with patients and being part of a team. What she feels stands out most about Arlington Physical Therapy is that everyone has a great attitude and willingness to help each other. Everyone goes out of their way to make the patients feel welcomed, loved, and most importantly get the therapy that they need and deserve. If there are ever any questions about billing or insurance, Sung will be more than willing to sit down with any patient that needs help understanding that part of the process.
